Jaxson Dart Takes Parting Shot at Transferring Teammate

In a shocking move, Ole Miss Rebels star running back Quinshon Judkins announced that he was leaving the program via the transfer portal and starting quarterback Jaxson Dart took what many are calling a shot at him.

On his Instagram, Dart shared a video of former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

This is important because, in the video, Brady says, "Man, if you're about yourself, you might be amazing; I'd love to compete against you."

It's safe to say that was directed at Judkins.

His moving on from Ole Miss will be a massive loss. He had back-to-back 15+ touchdown seasons and had 1,158 rushing yards this past season.
The Rebels finished the season 11-2, going 6-2 in the SEC and 7-0 at home.

Following his exit from the program, Judkins did release a statement.

He said a lot in that message, including thanking his coaches and the fans.

He mentioned his teammates, too, saying, "To my brothers, who will forever be a part of my family, I am forever thankful for the relationships we've built while I've been here. To coach Kiffin, coach Smith and the entire coaching staff, thank you all for believing in me and developing me into a better football player."

Dart was also a vital part of the rushing offense.

In addition to 3,363 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and five interceptions, he had 568 rushing yards and eight touchdowns and averaged 5.9 yards per attempt on designed runs.

Judkins is the latest player to leave the program. He joins Jam Griffin, Davin Wydner, Kyirin Heath, Larry Simmons, Michael Trigg, Jeremiah Dillon, Cedrick Nicely, and others.

Next season, the Ole Miss Rebels will play the following teams:

  • Furman Paladins
  • Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders
  • Wake Forest Demon Deacons
  • Georgia Southern Eagles
  • Kentucky Wildcats
  • South Carolina Gamecocks
  • LSU Tigers
  • Oklahoma Sooners
  • Arkansas Razorbacks
  • Georgia Bulldogs
  • Florida Gators
  • Mississippi State Bulldogs

Now, we wait to see if Judkins will potentially land with an SEC rival.
