LSU defensive back Dwayne Thomas made exactly zero friends in Tuscaloosa last week when Thomas declared in the press that LSU "would dominate" Alabama and that LSU let Bama "off the hook" in previous years. Alabama receiver ArDarius Stewart was quick to respond via twitter and Tide players haven't been shy about their displeasure for Thomas' comments.

Monday Thomas' head coach at LSU expressed that he wasn't very pleased with his defensive back's comments.
O didn't like LSU DB Dwayne Thomas' comments on "dominating" Bama. "He shouldn't have said it. U don't want the game played in the papers."

"I'm going to have a little conversation with him," O said of Dwayne Thomas.

Some of Thomas' teammates would rather see the game fought on the field and not with words. LSU quarterback Danny Etling told lsunow.com, "We wanna make sure that we don't give our opponent anything that's gonna fire them up to much," while tight end Colin Jeter added "I think Dwayne may have misused his words last week."
Alabama would be well served to put all of this behind them. The Tide can't let anything distract them from the end goal of winning a championship including an LSU player running his mouth. Alabama is the better team and needs to continue to do their talking through their play and let that be what shuts up the Tigers.
