Mississippi State senior defensive lineman Nick James was arrested early Sunday morning according to the Starkville Daily's Joel Coleman. James joins a string of other players this offseason to make a bad decision early in the morning that resulted in his arrest.

According to the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Office, MSU defensive lineman Nick James was arrested early this a.m. for public intoxication.

The 6'4", 330-pound lineman is entering his fifth season with the team after taking a redshirt year his sophomore year. He originally came to MSU as a four-star recruit out of Long Beach High School in Mississippi and was the state's No. 4 recruit according to 247Sports. James had 10 starts in 13 games played last season to go with 26 tackles, a forced fumble and three tackles for loss.
