After Alabama wrapped up their first practice of Fall camp Bama coach Nick Saban spoke with media members and addressed the Tide's current injury concerns amongst other topics. Saban explained the absence of several players including talented freshman Nigel Knott and let it be known that QB candidate David Cornwell has been dealing with a foot injury.

Saban said Richie Petitbon, Ronnie Clark, Shawn Jennings and Nigel Knott will not participate until school starts because of injuries.

The biggest concern is Cornwell. With the QB situation uncertain the Tide need all of their options at full strength to insure they find the best player for the job.
