This appears to be progressing quickly.
Just a few days after being granted permission to transfer, Ole Miss quarterback Shea Patterson has reportedly lined up an official visit to Michigan this weekend.
Considering some of the issues that Michigan has had at quarterback, Patterson would be a very welcome potential upgrade for the future of the Wolverines.
Patterson missed the final five games of the 2017 season with injury, but he had proved to be a valuable weapon for Ole Miss this season. Patterson is a former five-star recruit of the 2016 recruiting class, having ranked as the No. 4 overall recruit by the 247Sports Composite.
In the first seven games of the 2017 season, Patterson threw for 2,259 yards and 17 touchdowns against nine interceptions.
