Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Maryland, Miami, Mississippi State, Oregon, Penn State South Carolina and Tennessee were among Hunter's finalists.
Hunter has received scholarship offers from 38 schools and ranks as the No. 14 strongside defensive end and No. 181 overall prospect for the 2019 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.
According to 247Sports' Crystal Ball predictions, Miami is currently the favorite to earn the junior's commitment, with 62 percent of the predictions, despite losing Hunter's commitment in November.
Florida — where he was committed initially before flipping to the Hurricanes — is second with 25 percent and Maryland is third with 12 percent.
