South Carolina commit shows off super strength and unreal speed

That's quite the improvement.

South Carolina might have gotten a huge steal in the class of 2017 with three-star commit Davonne Bowen. While he might not be ranked very high according to 247Sports, he's certainly lifting and running better than his position and overall ratings.

Bowen has been hard at work since he attended The Opening in March where he checked in at 6'1" and 215 pounds. Since then the defensive end has put on 10 pounds and has gotten considerably faster. At the event he was laser-timed as running a 4.66 40-yard dash and maxed out at the bench with 345 pounds.

He's improved both of those numbers working in the weight room at Woodmont High School where he plays and posted this epic video to prove it.

He didn't have the run in there, but apparently he improved by a whole two-tenths of a second and now runs a 4.46 40-yard dash. He will play linebacker at the next level for the Gamecocks and he committed back in June to coach Muschamp and SC.
