South Carolina DB pulls 180 on decision to transfer

Looks like he changed his mind.

South Carolina defensive back Chris Moody announced in January that he would transfer out of South Carolina for his final year of eligibility, but it seems that's no longer the case. Moody has decided to stick with the new Will Muschamp regime and staff for his last year of college.

"Chris was going to transfer when we first got here, that was the word that I got," Muschamp said, "recently expressed some desire to stay at South Carolina. So he's still here and we gave him an opportunity to come out here and practice with us."

Over the last three years, Moody has played in 37 games and had seven starts. The Gamecocks lack depth in the secondary and so keeping a DB like Moody will be huge for this team going into the 2016 season.
