Star SEC quarterback arrested for DUI

This is really bad news for one NFL hopeful QB.

According to the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott was arrested on early Saturday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence.

This could potentially be bad news for Prescott, as the NFL hopeful gunslinger is projected to go in this year's NFL Draft. While he's not the highest quarterback on the board, Prescott could reasonably go as high as the second or third round thanks to his size and arm strength.

This potential charge might not affect him too much in the long run, it is not what you want to have happen just a six weeks before the NFL Draft. Prescott — Mississippi State's all-time passing leader — could now be facing intense scrutiny from scout and NFL teams leading up to the Draft at the end of April.

More on this situation to come as it is made available.
