Everything surrounding the Tennessee football program is sketchy at the moment. The Vols sit at 3-3 on the season and, after two straight losses to Georgia (by quite a lopsided margin) and South Carolina, Butch Jones' seat has never been hotter in Knoxville.

In fact, many believe that there is very little Jones can do to save his position at this point in time and the grim reaper that is Alabama arrives this weekend in a game that Tennessee is projected (at least by Vegas) by approximately five touchdowns. The buzz increased even more on Thursday, as former Tennessee and Pro Bowl defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth poured potential fuel on the fire with one quick tweet.
Haynesworth said nothing specifically about Jones or his status as the head coach but, in evoking Jim Haslam, a big-time donor and alum of Tennessee, he brought out the conspiracy theories about the Vols faithful gathering a buyout. Obviously, the hammer has not dropped just yet and this is (very) cryptic but the college football world does not always wait for official word before acting.
Butch Jones may survive the rest of the campaign but, if things don't improve, stuff like this from Haynesworth will only poke the bear.
