Tennessee received its first commitment since hiring new head coach Jeremy Pruitt and it came from a familiar name.

Four-star wide receiver Alontae Taylor, who decommitted from the Vols in November, recommitted on Wednesday via Twitter.
Taylor, who initially committed to Tennessee in June 2016, decommitted last month shortly after news broke of former head coach Butch Jones' termination.
The four-star athlete ranks as the No. 23 wide receiver and No. 118 overall prospect for the 2018 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Tennessee has yet to hire new wide receivers and strength coaches, but Taylor reportedly "knows the situation" and is believed to be confident with it, according to a Volquest report relayed by Fansided's Zach Ragan.
Alontae Taylor told VQ that he “knows the situation with the wide receivers coach and the strength coach” and that he isn’t worried about that. Sounds like Pruitt filled him in on his plans.
