Several Tennessee prospects decommit following Butch Jones’ termination

Needless to say they weren't happy with the school's decision.

Following news of former head coach Butch Jones' termination, three Tennessee commitments have reopened their recruitment.

Four-star wide receiver Alontae Taylor, three-star wide receiver Shocky Jacques-Louis, three-star cornerback Tanner Ingle each tweeted their decommitments on Sunday, shortly after news of Jones' firing.

"I haven't spoken to anyone at Tennessee, but I am no longer committed," Taylor said.

Taylor ranks as the No. 29 wide receiver and No. 149 overall prospect for the 2018 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Jacques-Louis ranks as the No. 94 wide receiver and No. 84 Florida prospect. Ingle ranks as the No. 80 cornerback and No. 124 Florida prospect.

Tennessee currently ranks No. 13 in 247Sports' Composite team rankings for 2018, which is fourth among SEC teams.  The Vols have 17 hard commits, including six 4-star and 11 3-star prospects.

Cade Mays, a 5-star Knoxville native, also announced his decommitment via Twitter last Tuesday.
