Jauan Jennings might not be a name you've heard too often as a Tennessee fan, but it is one you should become familiar with for the season. The rising sophomore only caught 14 passes for 149 yards last season, but that was his first season ever as a receiver.

According to rockytopinsider.com, Jones anticipates a bigger role for Jennings who made several contributions to the team last year:
"If you look at just his special teams value last year, especially on our kickoff team. And then going from quarterback, and he played quarterback all spring and then made that change going into fall camp. And we thought he continued to grow and get better and better as a receiver. He's just an athlete."
Jones said he loves Jennings' attitude and how he'll do whatever is necessary to get on the field for the Volunteers:
"He's a natural at what he does, but his competitive drive, I think his instincts really take over and we're expecting him to have a great year for us."
You can definitely assume that if he keeps improving like Jones has said, he will be eclipsing those numbers pretty easily. With the improvement of quarterback Josh Dobbs and a steady offensive line, Jennings should see a whole lot more passes come his way this upcoming season.
