The Tennesse Volunteers saw Heisman candidate and quarterback Hendon Hooker depart for the NFL this offseason. Still, after the most recent Manning Passing Academy, it looks as if the Vols will be in good hands.

New starting quarterback Joe Milton was seen there this past weekend and let loose a massive, 70-yard pass down the field.
Jim Nagy, the Senior Bowl executive director, said Milton was one of just three quarterbacks to hit the deepest golf cart target, which was located outside the end zone — as seen in the video below.

One of only three QBs to hit the deep golf cart. (UW’s Michael Penix just hit it too).

"Goodness gracious!" TV personality Cooper Manning shouted over the mic during the skills challenge. He followed that exclamation with another expression of shock: "Holy cow."
We're right there with you, Cooper. And we're not the only ones.
"I pull hard for him," Peyton Manning told The Knoxville News Sentinel. "Boy, I'm really proud of him for coming in last year after Hendon [Hooker's] injury and keeping things together in a great bowl win. A bowl win can do so much for a quarterback's confidence, especially in his first year really as a starter. I can tell Joe is confident. I'm excited about him having a great senior year."
The Volunteers' season kicks off Sept. 2 at 1 p.m. ET at home against the Virginia Cavaliers. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, they're +3000 to win the national championship.
