Four-star defensive end Justin Eboigbe named Tennessee as a team "at the top" of his college choices following last weekend's official visit to Knoxville. Eboigbe told 247Sports (subscription needed) that the Vols are now part of "just a cluster of schools I have an idea of" among his 20 scholarship offers.
"I'm interested," he said. "I'm still going to weigh my options out, but they're at the top of the list so far because they're one of the schools I have visited this new year, and it's a school I stay in contact with. But I still have plenty of options that I look forward to seeing."
He also noted that he's a big fan of late Pro Football Hall of Famer Reggie White, which apparently helps Tennessee's chances even more.
"I always liked Reggie White, and him attending Tennessee, to walk around the campus and see the mementos they have of Reggie White and all the great defensive linemen that they've had, that was one thing that I really did want to just go there and look around," Eboigbe said.
Eboigbe ranks as the No.9 strong-side defensive end, No. 11 player from the state of Georgia and No. 135 overall prospect for the 2019 national recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports' early rankings.
