There's a new top recruiting class in the SEC thanks to the commitment of LB Matthew Flint

Whoa!

It's official!

On Wednesday morning, three-star linebacker Matthew Flint (6-foot-1, 213 pounds, Gurley, AL) announced that he had committed to Tennessee.

First and foremost I want to thank God for giving me the ability to play the game I love. Second to get the recognition from D1 collegiate schools and a strong family that have been through the process and support my decision. So without further ado I will be committing to the University of Tennessee.

The move is big for Tennessee, as it boosts them up on the 247Sports recruiting rankings. Tennessee passed LSU for the No. 1 spot in the SEC, and they are up to No. 6 in the country for the 2018 class.

Tennessee now has 18 commitments as part of their recruiting class.
