Kirk Herbstreit made quite a few predictions before the season began and now he’s sticking to his guns about his SEC Championship prediction. He had Alabama and Tennessee meeting in the big game in Atlanta and still thinks that now.

Herbstreit was on the Paul Finebaum show and reiterated that he sees the Vols and Crimson Tide in a rematch in the postseason.

Tennessee’s biggest hurdle was Florida and Alabama’s was Ole Miss. With seemingly no one left to challenge them in their divisions it looks like the rematch is all but set in stone. Tennessee could struggle with Georgia this weekend, but there’s no reason to think the Vols won’t win that game.
