Tennessee already had issues with some of its offense heading into this season with the loss of quarterback Josh Dobbs and receiver Josh Malone to the NFL Draft. It looks like the Vols might be missing another receiver as rising senior Josh Smith might be in serious trouble to start the season. He was arrested Friday night:

It would appear that his roommate is a long-time friend as well:
Smith and his roommate, Kennedy Foster, have been long-time friends; they share an off-campus house. The fight occurred Friday night.

Smith had 13 catches year for 97 yards and a touchdown last season, but was expected to be a much bigger contributor this year with so many losses on offense and the opportunity to fill a void. He may not end up playing in the first game or he could be saddled to the bench for much of summer practices because of this incident.
