When Scott Van Pelt has an opinion he doesn't let anyway sway him from defending it. He did exactly that when talking about Tennessee's potential for the 2016 season. Many people are already predicting the Vols to win the SEC East next season and of course that means everyone is already saying they're overrated.

Scott Van Pelt is one of those people who thinks Tennessee deserves praise for their win against Northwestern and should be expected to win the East. He had to go on a Twitter crusade to defend his position and Vols fans should be grateful for this man and his tenacity.
