If you're speaking at a fundraiser in Knoxville and looking for laughs, then it's probably a safe call to make a joke at the expense of Lane Kiffin. He is still much maligned in the entire state and one other former Tennessee coach decided to reach for the low hanging fruit at a Catholic Charities fundraiser Thursday night in downtown Knoxville.

Tennessee legend Phillip Fulmer was the keynote speaker at that fundraiser and when he talked about his time after coaching he decided it was the opportunity he needed to take his jab at Kiffin for his one year stint in 2009 as head coach.
"I miss coaching every day. I have done quite a few things. I did CBS for a couple of years and that was a lot of fun to get a chance to do that," Fulmer said according to the Knoxville News Sentinel. "But it was real time-consuming.
"I really did it mostly to get me out of town while Kiffin was here."
That joke alone probably raised a few thousand dollars and certainly raised a few laughs too. Of course, Kiffin is now the head coach at FAU and will likely have to stay there longer than a year if he wants to get a better job down the road.
