Tennessee loses recruit at key position

That stinks.

Tennessee had a country-leading 27 commits until Tuesday night when they lost a recruit at a key position for the Vols. Three-star dual-threat quarterback C.J. Lewis decided to re-open his recruitment despite the fact he could be fighting for the starting spot since Josh Dobbs is a senior this year.

The No. 8 player in Connecticut had committed to Tennessee in July and has other offers from Boston College, UConn and Buffalo. Tennessee currently only has Quinten Dormady as the only other QB on the roster after Dobbs.
