Tennessee loses yet another defensive star for the season

This is the worst.

The Tennessee Volunteers have been struck down by yet another injury to a star defensive player. Cam Sutton has been out for weeks, Jalen Reeves-Maybin can't play the rest of the year and Darrin Kirkland Jr. was out for some time. Now the Vols will have to play on without the services of defensive tackle Shy Tuttle.

Tuttle's rookie season was cut short as well with a foot and ankle injury and he had just gotten the start for Kahlil McKenzie against South Carolina. McKenzie was lost for the year when he tore a pectoral muscle two weeks ago. Now Tuttle will be out for the rest of the season with the main concern centering around his right MCL and possibly a fractured bone.
