Sources close to 247Sports are saying that Jonathan Kongbo has sent his National Letter of Intent to Tennessee and the school has officially received it. Kongbo is listed as the top overall JUCO recruit by 247Sports and had sent in his financial aid agreement, but that was not a binding contract like the LOI.
That allowed Tennessee to mention him as a signee but didn't officially wed him to the Vols. Now that his LOI is faxed in he cannot be recruited by other schools and is 100 percent a Volunteer.
