Whether or not the Vols have finally turned the corner and can win the SEC East this season will largely hinge on the outcome of its conference showdown with Georgia Saturday.
Tennessee beat the Bulldogs 38-31 last year, but the stakes are bigger this time out. With a win over Florida last week in a thrilling second half comeback, Georgia looks to be the only thing between them and a spot in the SEC Championship game in December.
The Vols are currently a three-point favorite, but they'll have a lot to overcome in a hostile Athens crowd, a hotshot freshman quarterback in Jacob Eason, and a ton of Georgia athletes on both sides of the ball.
