Tennessee will be without best defender for another week, could get one back though

This is becoming a bad trend for the Vols.

Tennessee will be without its best defender for yet another week and this time it is Jalen Reeves-Maybin yet again. This weekend against Texas A&M could prove to be a back breaker with it being the ESPN GameDay game and in College Station.

Head coach Butch Jones talked to the media on Wednesday and gave a definite answer on Reeves-Maybin's status so there really is no chance he plays this week like he did two weeks ago against Florida.

However, the Vols could be getting back linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr.

Despite Tennessee not really being able to stay healthy this season, the team is still undefeated and controlling its destiny in the SEC East.
