Tennessee gets the privilege of opening the college football season when it plays Virginia Tech on Thursday, September 1st. The school was so excited about the game that it is giving students the day off from classes so everyone can go see the game at Bristol Motor Speedway just about two hours away.

Now that's treating the students right, but it might have been wise to also cancel classes the next day too considering what kind of shape some of these kids might be in.
