Tennessee and Vanderbilt weren't exactly having good seasons so each one needed a win in this rivalry game. The Vols got it, Fortunately for the Vols, they ended up with the win 27- 21 in OT. The game was tied at 21-21 after regulation, and it would be defensive gem that sealed the win. The Volunteers' Eric Gordon returned an INT in overtime and that was the difference. UT running back Tauren Poole had 107 yards on 19 carries with a touchdown, while receiver Da'Rick Rogers had 116 yards receiving on 10 catches with two touchdowns.
