RELATED: Tennessee's first spring practice had a lot of "energy"
Tennessee injuries are starting to hurt the Vols in during spring practice, especially when one of them happens to star linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin. Vols coach Butch Jones said Tuesday that Reeves-Maybin and fellow linebacker Dillon Bates would miss the rest of the spring, but should be ready to return by early June. Jones didn't specify the nature of the linebackers injuries, but Reeves-Maybin watched Tuesday's practice with his left arm in a sling.
Reeves-Maybin had a team-high 105 tackles last season, including 14 for loss. The Vols are also missing Evan Berry, Chance Hall, Josh Malone, Shy Tuttle and a few others during spring football.
