Four-star WR with 4.4 speed is transferring from Oregon to this SEC school

The rich get richer!

Former four-star wide receiver Kirk Merritt announced that he would be transferring from Oregon a few weeks ago, and it looks like he has already found a destination.

Merritt originally signed with Oregon in 2015, and he actually played in 12 of Oregon's 13 games last season. He only caught five passes for 61 yeards, and now, it looks like he doesn't think his future is best fit with the Ducks. Texas A&M was one of his top schools before his original commitment, and it now looks like he'll get a chance with the Aggies.

Considering the transfer problems that A&M has had over the past 18 months, it is safe to say that Coach Kevin Sumlin is happy about landing a receiver with 4.4 40-speed.

Merritt will have to sit out a year before he is eligible. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
