Texas A&M's staff has been coming together nicely as they have added Mike Elko from Notre Dame and now it looks like they'll be stealing some talent away from the NFL.

Jimbo Fisher, A&M with a huge hire on defense, luring DL coach Jerry Montgomery from the Green Bay Packers. Montgomery's last two college stints were two years each at OU and Michigan

For what it's worth, Fisher has already retained Terry Price, who was the defensive line coach under Kevin Sumlin.
One thing I believe many Aggies (Old and New) can agree on is Jimbo Fisher's retention of DL coach Terry Price @Coach_TPrice. The position has been a strength, he's a solid recruiter (Myles Garrett ring a bell?) & former A&M player to boot. 2 DL coaches w/ Jerry Montgomery.

Having two defensive line experts could help on the recruiting trail with big time prospects, but it could also help shore up what was already a strength for the Aggies. Montgomery is a pretty good recruiter despite spending the last three season in the NFL as he was named Scout's best recruiter for the 2014 season when he was with Oklahoma under Bob Stoops.
