Former Cleveland Brown quarterback Johnny Manziel is currently under investigation for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley. Manziel was indicted last month by a grand jury, and turned himself into police on Wednesday, and had his first court appearance was Thursday. Manziel's attorney, Bob Hinton, told reporters after the court appearance that he hopes the solution to this case is that "everyone will kiss and make up." No really, he did.

This is a pretty absurd thing to say, especially using "kiss and makeup" when you're talking about domestic violence charges here. Back in March, police released documents of the alleged assault that were very disturbing — his ex-girlfriend claimed that Manziel hit her so hard that she burst her ear drum and temporarily lost hearing in the ear.

But yeah, let's hope these two just "kiss and make up," right? It seems that everyone involved — even Manziel, who has been seen partying hours after he was indicted by the grand jury, is taking this case a little too lightly.
