After moving up his commitment date, four-star defensive tackle Bobby Brown (6-foot-4, 275 pounds, Arlington, TX) announced on Friday that he had committed to Texas A&M over Alabama and Oklahoma.

The timing was interesting here, as Brown had just taken his official visit to Alabama and is scheduled to be at Texas A&M this weekend. It looks like after that Alabama visit, Brown realized that he wanted to officially commit to Texas A&M instead.
Just two weeks ago, Brown released his Top 8 schools: Alabama, LSU, Florida State, Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Houston. It looks like a decision has progressed quickly here.
Brown is rated as a four-star recruit by the 247Sports Composite. The same ranking has him as the No. 14 defensive tackle in the 2018 class. Texas A&M now has 16 commitments for their 2018 recruiting class.
