College football programs around the country are hoping to avoid anything too scary happening to them during the Halloween weekend slate of games, and Texas A&M is primary among them as they battle with Spencer Rattler and South Carolina in College Station. The Aggie faithful in attendance were getting in on the Halloween action in some of the best fan costumes seen in stadiums this weekend.

Two fans donned in Ricky Bobby and Cal Naughton Jr. outfits were hoping they could "shake and bake" their way to helping A&M to victory as a member of the 12th man. It was Will Ferrel's iconic NASCAR racing character who coined the phrase, "if you're not first, you're last." Most Aggie fans probably feel like they're in last place in the SEC right now despite their winning record overall.

A preseason 23rd overall ranking and team full of blue chip recruits had fans hoping this was the year they could contend for an SEC title. However, Jimbo Fisher's seat is hotter than ever after an early season loss to the Miami Hurricanes and back to back losses in the last two weeks to Alabama and Tennessee. The Aggies look to get off the losing side in front of their "celebrity" racing fans at home, and they need all the help they can get.
The Gamecocks jumped out to a 7-0 lead early in this game but Fisher's squad weathered the storm and surged back to take a 21-7 advantage into the half. There is still a lot to play for however, if A&M can hold on against South Carolina. Closing out the season on a winning streak or getting a big bowl win would be huge for Fisher's job security and Aggie fans alike. Maybe the team can learn something from Ricky Bobby and turn back into the "big, hairy, American winning machine" they were expected to be after some big wrecks.
