SEC LB suspended indefinitely following domestic violence arrest on Friday

Yikes.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Texas A&M junior linebacker Josh Walker was arrested on Friday night for "charges of assault causing bodily injury to a family member, and interfering with emergency requested for assistance".

The Chronicle's Brent Zwerneman, the incident involved Walker's girlfriend, who Walker had allegedly push down and prevented from calling emergency services.

Texas A&M has suspended Walker indefinitely following the incident.

Walker has started five games in his two years with Texas A&M. He has recording 45 total tackles in 21 games, including one tackle for loss. He is a former four-star recruit of the 2014 recruiting class.

Texas A&M opens the season in two weeks with a visit from UCLA to College Station.
