TCU coach eviscerates Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M over QB Kenny Hill

He didn't hold back on this one at all.

After sitting out a year, former Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill is finally ready to play at TCU. Hill was once extremely hyped when he was replacing Johnny Manziel, but his star quickly fell. He was replaced at quarterback by Kyle Allen, and then suspended before he opted to transfer.

On Friday, Mark Schlabach released a rather damning quote from TCU offensive coordinator Doug Meacham. The quote is definitely in line with what multiple reports have told us about Manziel's time with Texas A&M, but it certainly won't make fans in College Station happy at all.

"It's kind of unfair," TCU offensive coordinator Doug Meacham said. "You're a young kid, you roll into a school where the Heisman Trophy winner is a guy that misses meetings and does whatever he wants to, and in your mind, you think 'Well, that's just how you're supposed to do it.' So, I don't think that helped him a whole lot."

Ouch. As if Manziel didn't have enough criticism going right now.

Hill will definitely have his hands full replacing Trevone Boykin at TCU, but it looks like he is taking the challenge with praise from his coaches. Though not yet named the starter, he is currently competing with sophomore Foster Sawyer for the job.

In 2014, Hill threw for 2,649 yards and 23 touchdowns in just eight games.
