A.J Hilliard was fifth in tackles for Texas A&M with 58 and that was only playing nine games because of injury. He also missed almost all of the 2014 season after breaking his leg in the opener against South Carolina. Hilliard will retire from football because of his injuries and coach Kevin Sumlin confirmed it on Monday.

Hilliard started his career at TCU before transferring after the 2012 season. He finished his career with 61 total tackles, two sacks, one fumble recovery and five tackles for loss.
