Texas A&M linebacker leaves program

The Aggies' defense lost some depth at linebacker on Tuesday morning when sophomore Jordan Mastrogiovanni decided to leave Texas A&M, according to Gig Em 24/7.

Since coming to Texas A&M as a three-star prospect in the 2013 class, Mastrogiovanni had an up-and-down career. He was a spot starter in 2013 and started the 2014 season in the starting lineup for the Aggies before losing his starting role to freshman Josh Walker. In his career, Mastrogiovanni had 52 tackles (19 solo), one interception, and two tackles for loss.

It is unknown at this time whether he will look to continue his football career at a different school.
