Florida State tight ends coach Tim Brewster announced his plan to join former Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M on Tuesday via Twitter.

Brewster coached alongside Fisher at FSU from 2013-17 and has served as both a tight ends and wide receivers coach for several Power-5 programs including Texas, North Carolina and Mississippi State, as well as with the San Diego Chargers from 2002-03, coaching future Hall of Famer Antonio Gates. He also served as the University of Minnesota's head coach from 2007-10, recording a 15-30 career record.
During his tenure at FSU, Brewster coached Nick O'Leary, who emerged as one of the nation's best tight ends, having been named a finalist for the Mackey Award, as well as being named a Third Team All-American and an All-ACC Second Teamer in 2013.
Former FSU assistants Darrell Dickey (offensive coordinator), Dameyune Craig (offense) and Jay Graham (running backs) have also left the Seminoles for A&M this offseason.
Fisher resigned as FSU's head coach to accept the same position with the Aggies on December 1. He led the Seminoles to an 83-23 record, which included a national championship in 2013, as well as three ACC titles (2012-14) and four first-place finishes in the ACC Atlantic Division (2010, 2012-14).
