Myles Garrett has had many adjectives attached to his name like "athletic freak", "beast" and a multitude of others. He's generally described as the best edge rusher in the SEC and no one is going to be surprised when he leaves school after this year to go pro. However, there's another guy in the SEC who has been compared to Garrett since they both entered the conference at the same time, but have never gone head-to-head.

Tennessee's Derek Barnett actually has more total tackles and tackles for loss than Garrett over the last two seasons with Garrett winning the sack and forced fumbles battle. While the two are clearly comparable, Pro Football Focus went ahead and graded both of them out with Barnett actually coming out on top.

As much of an athletic freak Garrett is, Barnett might be just as freaky in other parts of the game. It should be interesting how their respective junior seasons play out as the Vols are expected to win the SEC East while the Aggies aren't expected to compete in the West at all. The two will actually see each other on October 8th in College Station so that should be a super fun game to watch.
