The Steve Spurrier retirement troll train is full steam ahead!
He was on the Paul Finebaum Show Wednesday —- on his birthday no less —- to with Finebaum about his time as coach and what life was like in the SEC. He couldn't resist taking his shot though with the latest one coming against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Spurrier on Alabama: "They've won 16 national championships. They claim 16, and one of them in there was a 9-2 record."
He's still got it.

That season the Tide finished with a 9-2 record was 1941 and pretty much everyone was "claiming" titles if they finished with a halfway decent record. There was no consensus national title game and so anyone could say they were the champs.
