Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide currently boast one of the top 2017 recruiting classes in the country, but the coaching staff should probably be just a little bit worried about the pledge of five-star offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood. The star offensive lineman from Pensacola, Fla. recently announced that his recent trip to Michigan was the "best visit" that he has taken to this point and, now, Leatherwood seems to waffling a bit on the Tide.

Chad Simmons of Scout caught up with Leatherwood and the top-five national prospect said the following:
"I would say things are a little different since I took that visit. I am still committed to Alabama, and things have not changed that much, but I do see I have other good opportunities.
"The strength of my commitment is a little less than what it was, but I do still feel good about it. I am a little more open to schools now than I was, but I am still committed."
The 6-foot-6, 327-pound Leatherwood has been committed to Alabama since June 2015 and, given his prominence as the No. 2 tackle prospect in the country, this is a big commitment for Saban and company. At this point, Alabama would appear to be in the lead, but any shuffling at this stage is worrisome to fans and Jim Harbaugh certainly won't be letting up in his pursuit of an elite prospect.
Recruiting battles between the best coaches in the nation are always fun, and this is no exception.
