Tide players have zero interest in talk of 'revenge' against Ole Miss

Alabama football finds itself in unfamiliar territory heading into their SEC opener against Ole Miss, they find themselves trying to snap a losing streak. The Tide have dropped back-to-back games to Ole Miss and are heading to Oxford trying to regain some of the dominance that Alabama has traditionally held over the Black Bears.

Last season there was a lot of talk coming from Tide players about getting revenge over the loss two years ago. This year there is none of that.

''I feel like we put too much pressure, too much emphasis on revenge and all that stuff, so we are definitely not focusing on anything like that this year,'' Alabama defensive end Jonathan Allen said Monday. ''We are just focusing on playing well.''

This is a big week for the Tide. Bama's week two win was sloppy and full of mistakes that could prove fatal against a team like Ole Miss. Alabama needs to clean up their act, no one wants to lose to Ole Miss three years in a row.
