The second half of Saturday’s Mississippi State-UMass got wild for the Minutemen.

Two nasty hits on UMass quarterback Ross Comis led to one ejection, one scuffle and the Minutemen coach Mark Whipple laying into Mississippi State’s Dan Mullen:

Whipple and Mullen appeared to have things patched up at the end, but the UMass side of things certainly was not happy.

Comis left the game and reserve quarterback Randall West finished off the afternoon as the Bulldogs held on for the 34-23 win.
