After playing a key role in Alabama's championship run last season, Tide receiver Richard Mullaney went undrafted in the NFL draft. Mullaney was quickly signed as a free agent by the Houston Texans where he was earning much praise before suffering an injury that saw him miss most of Houston's offseason program and as a result he was waived by the team.
That hasn't been the end for Mullaney however, as his NFL dream was given new life after he was signed Monday by the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys rookie receiver Chris Brown suffered a broken foot in practice and the Cowboys moved quickly to find a replacement. Look for Mullaney to get some opportunities in the coming preseason games for Dallas as they hope to see if he can be a part of their bench in 2016.
