It wasn't a very pretty night for Alabama's offense against a tough LSU defense Saturday, but the Tide managed to put together enough offense to top the Tigers 10-0. The Tide turned the ball over twice, missed a field goal and Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts wasn't at his best. Hurts was only 10 of 19 passing for 109 yards, but the Tide managed 216 on the ground and got the yards exactly when they needed them the most.

Hurts did have success running the ball, rushing for 114 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown. Hurts was responsible for the only touchdown of the game and the deciding score.

Alabama would go on to defensively dominate the Tigers and that one score would be enough.
