Everyone loves the hard working walk-on. These are the guys who bust their butt and work hard just to stay on the team. They are seldom rewarded with playing time, wearing the uniform is reward enough. They do all of this while having to find their own way to pay for school like the average Alabama student, so when the opportunity comes along for Tide coach Nick Saban to give out scholarships to these much deserving men, it feels extra sweet.
Defensive back Levi Wallace and tight ends Truett Harris and Brandon Moore have all been with the Tide at least four years and now will get to go out as scholarship athletes.
