Weird things happen when schools try to flip recruits, and this Clemson coach might have set the worst example

The recruiting game is fierce, so try not to get your feelings hurt.

Recruiting season is in full swing, which means teams are trying to flip recruits during the lengthy offseason.

As Alabama is trying to flip this 5-star monster from LSU, it brings us back to just last year when defensive back Juwuan Briscoe verbally committed to Clemson before flipping to Georgia.

That upset Tigers defensive backs coach Mike Reed so much that he actually blocked the recruit on Twitter, per AJC's Michael Carvell:

"Umm. Coach Reed from Clemson blocked me on Twitter. I don't what's going on with that. I don't know why. But I don't have any problems with Clemson. There are no hard feelings from me. It's just part of how recruiting works. You've got to move on."

Hard feelings much?

Hopefully things don't get to that level with defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin.
