Son of former NFL All-Pro player has Power 5 schools chasing him

He's only a freshman, and is a huge kid.

The Hinton's are approaching football royalty.

Chris Hinton starred at Northwestern and was a first-round NFL draft selection who played 13 years in the league and was an All-Pro right tackle. He was also a semi-finalist in this year's Football Hall of Fame voting.

Now, his sons are making waves. Chris Hinton Jr., a freshman, is already 6-foot-5 and 267 pounds, and is a 2019 recruit making waves. Jim Harbaugh's Michigan Wolverines have already made him an offer, and he recently took a visit to Clemson.

Hinton, of Atlanta (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian Academy, is a defensive lineman who seems to have a strong affinity for the 2017 national championship program.

"The family feel and the care the coaches have for their players... it's a special place," Hinton told Scout.com.

Hinton also has his eyes on Ohio State, Georgia, and North Carolina, according to Scout.com.

If a team loses out on Chris Hinton Jr., there's another Hinton waiting in the wings. Myles Hinton, a 6-foot-6, 300 pound offensive tackle, is a 2020 prospect.
