Bill Belichick's North Carolina debut was downright ugly, and TCU had no problem rubbing it in.

The Horned Frogs crushed the Tar Heels 48-14 on Monday night in Chapel Hill. UNC opened the game with an 83-yard touchdown drive and forced a punt on TCU's first series, but nearly everything unraveled from there.
Adding insult, TCU's official football account on X took a shot at Belichick's team after the game, referencing the upcoming Hulu series that will follow his first season in Chapel Hill. "When does episode one come out?" the account posted.
Belichick was also hit with memes throughout the night and into Tuesday morning, with plenty of jokes not only about the loss but also about his relationship with his 24-year-old girlfriend.

UNC announced its Hulu partnership last week, with the streaming platform set to chronicle Belichick's transition from the NFL to college football. A release date has not yet been set, though the series is expected to air later this fall.
Most observers expected some growing pains in Belichick's first year at the college level, but Monday's loss was still a lopsided reminder of the work ahead. The Tar Heels now turn quickly to prepare for Saturday's home game against Charlotte.
The opener also fueled national debate about whether the move made sense in the first place. Belichick was hired to bring instant credibility and spotlight to a program long stuck in the middle. Instead, the debut left him looking out of place, and left UNC fans wondering how long the growing pains might last.
