He underwent surgery late Friday night and was recovering Saturday morning, according to the report.
Marshall, currently uncommitted, released a final four of LSU, Texas, Texas A&M and Miami on June 9, and since that time has been on campus in College Station and Baton Rouge. The nation's No. 1 ranked wide receiver is set to decide in December before enrolling early.
It would not come as a surprise to see Marshall, who is a top-10 recruit nationally according to the 247Sports composite, landing with the Tigers, simply because of geography. The 6'2", 192-pound wide receiver hails from Bossier City (La.) and the Crystal Ball projections provide LSU with a sizable lead in their pursuit of the in-state prospect.
